The introductory session held on 12 Nov 2022. All teaching participants had joined us in the session. We have invited Anne Toomy from Royal College of Art, Lai Shan Ho from Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Lok Man Alice Kwok Integrated Service Centre, as the speakers for the project.
Kicking off at the Ng Wing Hong Building, the Fashion Stem team hosted teachers from nine different secondary schools around Hong Kong to learn about our upcoming two-day workshop entitled “Fashioning STEM for good: Inclusive fashion design and smart textiles for social good”. The morning session started off with a speech by Dr. Jeanne Tan, who introduced the workshop and its goal to enhance learning and teaching experience of STEM curricula through inclusive fashion design and smart textiles.
